Puerh tea originates from Yunnan province in south-west China and gets it's name form the market town that was the main trading post for this tea in ancient times. Puerh is put through a microbial fermentation process that allows the tea to improve with age like a fine wine or whiskey and makes this tea extremely beneficial for digestion.
